Since 1974, FDU’s School of Public and Global Affairs (SPGA) has prepared successful professionals who seek the rewards and challenges of a public service career. Our innovative, interdisciplinary and forward-thinking master’s programs are designed to prepare you to launch your career or assume a leadership role in the public or nonprofit sector.
As a student, you will be engaged on problem-solving teams, working on real-world projects with peers across New Jersey and the tri-state region, as well as countries around the world. Your learning experience will be enriched by classmates who bring diverse perspectives to our programs — including professionals from local, state and county government, nonprofit agencies and health care organizations, and first responders, diplomats, members of the active military and veterans.
Our faculty members hold advanced degrees from leading colleges and universities. They also include highly knowledgeable public service professionals who have extensive experience in the field. They bring both their practical knowledge and actionable insights to your classes — from UN ambassadors to directors of state and federal agencies.
Depending on your program, classes are held on FDU's four campuses worldwide, at more than 30 strategic off-site locations in New Jersey, and online via Zoom. Additionally, our graduate certificates enable you to earn valuable professional credentials which can be applied toward your degree.
