MA in Animation (Online option)

MA in Creative Writing and Literature for Educators (Low-Residency)
This program is offered through FDU’s Department of Literature, Languages, Writing, and Humanities
As the first--and only--MA in Creative Writing and Literature for Educators, this program is uniquely designed for high school teachers – as well as aspiring teachers and professors – this advanced degree nurtures your writing while giving you practical tools for using creative writing in the classroom and for teaching literature from a writer’s point of view.
MASTER OF FINE ARTS PROGRAMS
- Concentrations available: 3D Character Animation, Visual Effects, and Video Games
- 60-credit program of study and a thesis and portfolio are required to graduate
- Create original animated films and artwork
- Access to FDU’s new state-of-the-art animation lab
- GRE scores are not required
MFA in Creative Writing (Low Residency)
- Concentrations available: Fiction, Creative Nonfiction, Writing for Young Adults and Children, Poetry, and Literary Translation
- Study with acclaimed, award-winning published authors
- Twice-a-year residencies in Oxfordshire, England and the New York City area
- Recent graduates include the author of a New York Times bestseller, the winner of the African American Book Prize and the Colorado Book Prize for Biography
- GRE scores are not required
MFA in Film (Low Residency)
- Concentrations available: Producing, Screenwriting, Directing, Cinematography, and Editing
- Online courses (fall and spring terms); 9-day residencies (summer and winter sessions)
- Professional industry equipment
- Award-winning faculty and guest artists
- GRE scores are not required
